DO THESE THINGS EVERY DAY TO ENJOY MENTAL WELLNESS: BE IN NATURE

Elizabeth’s YouTube video series shares daily activities that improve mental health.

Anxiety, depression, and suicidal thoughts.

I suffered from all of the above at different points in my life.

I write about it in my best selling memoir, God's Answer Is Know: Lessons From a Spiritual Life.

Now I'm speaking about it in videos on my YouTube channel. Today’s video is about how spending time in nature every day is an excellent way to boost your mood, enhance your energy, feel inner peace, and help create and maintain mental wellness. It’s simple, it’s free, and it’s powerful.

Why am I doing this?

Because National Suicide Prevention Month just ended. Now it's Mental Health Week. And tomorrow is World Mental Health Day.

But these events are going to end.

And while they raise awareness, the problem continues.

In fact, the suicide rate has spiked 33% since 1999.

So I'm speaking up and out... to encourage you--if you are suffering--to get help.

Help is available. Help works. And change is possible.

In this video series, I'm sharing all the things I do in a day to aggressively cultivate mental wellness, along with physical health and spiritual empowerment.

My life purpose is to teach all that I know.

I am immeasurably grateful that the challenges I have faced did not crush me... they made me stronger.

And, blessed with the gift of writing and speaking, I'm using my lessons as my personal curriculum to help YOU and anyone else who can learn from what I now know and do every day.

This video includes a vignette from when I was distraught in college... and how counseling and the power of prayer have lifted me up and out of the darkness and into the light.

I also share how the out-of-the-blue opportunity of co-hosting a weekly, award-winning TV show about mental health—MI Healthy Mind—has taught me about the importance of shattering the stigma around mental illness and seeking help.

I write about this in my best selling book, God's Answer Is Know: Lessons From a Spiritual Life, available in hardcover, paperback, and ebook on amazon. Please visit GodsAnswerIsKnow.com.
