What's In A Title? Type 2 Diabetes: The Loaded Gun

Every Wednesday, we’ll be sharing LaRue’s journey as he writes his book and builds his movement.

YOUR LIFESTYLE AND DIET PULL THE TRIGGER TO DECLINING HEALTH

Type 2 Diabetes: The Loaded Gun is an informative, practical, no-nonsense book about the dietary disease known as type 2 diabetes and how it can be prevented and even reversed.

People who suffer with pre-diabetes or type 2 diabetes don’t hear very much about “reversal” of diabetes from their doctor, only advice on staying consistent with their meds!

LaRue’s book reveals the importance of understanding that medication cannot cure a dietary disease caused mostly by sedentary lifestyle and poor diet.

LaRue’s perspective as a health coach will provide amazing insight into the complicated and often confusing disease known as type 2 diabetes.

LaRue Palmer is a career chef, having most recently cooked for Elon Musk at SpaceX. Tasked with opening a brand new restaurant in the rocket factory, SpaceX became a literal laboratory for studying how people make poor choices in food and lifestyle that lead directly to poor and declining health. He has since launched his own brand as a certified diabetes educator and coach, using integrative nutrition health coaching as his weapon of choice to combat the looming epidemic of type 2 diabetes in America.

LaRue's mother Geri was an undiagnosed Type 2 diabetic, and at the age of 61 diabetes took her life suddenly. Her loss is the inspiration behind LaRue's mission to save others from the same fate.

LaRue’s forthcoming book, Diabetes 2: The Loaded Gun, has a robust gofundme campaign, and we even have a meaningful release date for the book: November 14th, also known as World Diabetes Day, “the birthday of Sir Frederick Banting, who co-discovered insulin along with Charles Best in 1922.” [Learn more about WDD.]

We will be chronicling LaRue’s book-writing and publishing journey along the way, to share what it’s like to work with a book coach to bring a book idea to life.
