DON’T JUDGE A BOOK BY ITS COVER! LET’S WRITE NEW CHAPTERS CELEBRATING WELLNESS & DIVERSITY

A physically fit woman with long blond hair, white skin, and green eyes walks out on stage.

The audience makes many assumptions about her.

Then she performs a seven-minute poem called White Chocolate

Laughter. Gasps. Shock.

Because she’s actually multiracial—and was once 100 pounds heavier, as photos of her family and her much bigger body flash on a screen behind her.

She reveals that she struggled with food and fat most of her life…

…celebrated a 100-pound weight loss on The Oprah Winfrey Show

…and now, 22 years later, feels better than ever!

On top of that, lifelong journaling, then learning to meditate nine years ago, helped her:

·      find inner peace and self-love,

·      write 33 books,

·      start a successful publishing company

·      land a weekly TV show about mental health and addiction

·      get two movie roles, and

·      embark on a quest to use her success to teach others how to achieve against the odds as well.

Her high-energy story-telling takes participants on a roller-coaster ride from the abyss of sadness she endured during rejection and confusion about being a white-looking, mixed-race girl and woman… to struggles with eating and excess weight that plunged her into depression, bulimia, and suicidal thoughts… and the emotional anguish during many years of verbal abuse by her ex-husband.

The magic of her story is that she used powerful tools – journaling, meditation, faith, exercise, and healthy eating – to rise up and out of that abyss into a glorious space of healing, success, forgiveness, and harmony.

Now Elizabeth is on a quest to teach everyone how to use her simple methods for cultivating mind-body-spirit wellness in ways that instill self-acceptance and self-love, so create a foundation and ability to embrace and celebrate all people of diverse backgrounds in the workplace, in educational settings, and in society.

When Elizabeth speaks at your company, conference, or college, then each participant — whether employee or student, executive or clerk, entrepreneur or retiree — finds the power and the tools to “become the change” we all wish to see in the world, as Mahamta Gandhi said.

As a result, the collective in your company, college, or conference begins to contribute to the greater good of your organization’s mission to provide excellent products and services or education or empowerment.  This creates a win-win-win for your organization, its people, and the world.

Please allow Elizabeth to share her message — “Don’t Judge a Book by its Cover! Let’s Start a New Chapter Celebrating Wellness & Diversity” — to transform hearts and minds in ways that uplift and inspire all.
